RE: Class of 2022 Graduation Video

As we abound ourselves in the joy and energy of Saturday’s Graduation, the Senior Class reminded us that this is a process. It is not based on a single test, but on a journey of learning, that we check from time to time by Measuring our students’ Academic Progress (MAP Results).

This has allowed us to change the focus of education from teacher-based to learner-based. As you can see, from our yearlong MAP results of your students’ measurable academic progress, and Richard Dufour’s quote …. That has made all the difference.

“THE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY MODEL FLOWS FROM THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE CORE MISSION OF FORMAL EDUCATION IS NOT SIMPLY TO ENSURE THAT STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT BUT TO ENSURE THAT THEY LEARN. THIS SIMPLE SHIFT—FROM A FOCUS ON TEACHING TO A FOCUS ON LEARNING HAS PROFOUND IMPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOLS.” RICHARD DUFOUR (2004)

MAP SPRING TEST RESULTS

… and now…without further ado… the Class of 2022 Graduation Video

Congratulations to our Senior Class!

For the rest of our school, let’s have another 3 great weeks of Teaching and Learning.
