Accreditation

ISO is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges (MSA). See MSA goals set by the Board below. ISO was re-accredited in April, 2014 for another seven years of operation.

The school is recognized by the College Board as an approved site for AP instruction and testing.

ISO is a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students. The school is also a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), West Africa International Schools Athletic League (WAISAL) and Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE).

Organizational Capacity Objective #1: ISO Learner Profile and Curriculum

By 2028, the International School of Ouagadougou will demonstrate improvement in incorporating key elements of the IB Learner Profile and the ISO 5Cs into the curriculum.
