Antonio, who left our school in June 2022, distinguished himself on the global academic stage. He was selected for the prestigious Summer Science Program (SSP) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, chosen from over 2,200 applicants for just 204 places, specializing in astrophysics.
He was also selected for the Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) program and later became a RISE Global Winner, attending Stanford University through the highly competitive RISE Fellowship.
Antonio earned an exceptional SAT score of 1550/1600, including a perfect 800 in Mathematics, maintains a 3.9 GPA, and co-founded CMath, an internationally recognized IB CAS project connecting Burkina Faso to global mathematics competitions.
We are proud to count Antonio among our alumni and celebrate the strong academic foundation he built during his time at our school.
Antonio was selected as a RISE Global Winner, attending Stanford University through the highly competitive RISE Fellowship, which supports exceptional young leaders worldwide. CMath itself has since been recognized as a gateway from Burkina Faso to international mathematics competitions, with past participants invited to compete at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Switzerland.
