ISO Community,
I would like to thank you for using quality communication and bringing your questions and concerns directly to your teachers, Principals, P’tit Paris, or me, depending on the type of questions you have.
I would also like to send out a quick “thank you” to our Community and Mr. Elias, the Director General of P’tit Paris, our external food service provider for the Zoom meeting yesterday. P’tit Paris has invited our community to our new school cafeteria’s Grand Opening, as per the attached Zoom notes:
“Elias from P’tit Paris announced that an opening ceremony would take place on April 8 at 2:45 pm, which would also be an opportunity for parents to pay for their children’s school activities directly or in advance.”
Quality Communication is the key to a healthy home and school environment which helps foster and nurture our students’ academic and social development.
To that end, we will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences, with students strongly encouraged to attend. The signup sheet to schedule a conference time was sent out.
Recent studies show that students in homes where parents speak positively about education and ask their students questions about what they learned in school have a 42% academic gain over students who are not asked these questions at home.
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and on the 8th for P’tit Paris “grand opening.”
Items that were sent out:
- Lower School Menu for after the break. More information to be sent by Lower School Teachers.
- À La Carte options for students in the new Cafeteria
- Transcript of Meeting (French/English)
- Video of Zoom Meeting
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask P’tit Paris directly at their new email petitparis@iso.bf.
