OFFICERS OF THE BOARD
George Restom (Lebanon)
George is a parent of 4 children in ISO -Joseph, Antoine, Rebecca and Ralph. He has lived in Burkina since 1989. He studied biology at the University of Beirut for a few years and is currently the Director of Marina Market and Honorary consul of Syria in Burkina Faso. His goal is to give his children the best options for life and education. As a member of the board, he will put all his expertise, relationships and knowledge into supporting the board for the best of our children and the school."
Jeremy Freeman (USA)
Jeremy is the parent of a 2019 ISO graduate and has three more children attending ISO. A mechanical engineer by training, he works as the Facility Manager at the US Embassy in Ouagadougou. He has been involved with schools in several countries and enjoys supporting ISO.
Ms Marie-Hélène Pichette (Canada)
Marie-Hélène is in her 8th year as the US Band and Performing Arts teacher at ISO. She has previous experience as a board member and chair with the Canadian Society for Traditional Music
Irene Yameogo Ngendakumana (Burkina Faso- Burundi)
Irene joined the board in November 2017. She has over 16 years of experience working as a physician and a public health specialist in Burkina Faso and Central Africa. The Ngendakumana Family have two children attending Elementary School
Dr. Rose Drabo (Burkina Faso)
Dr. Rose is a Dental Surgeon, Specialist in Public Health at the Ministry of Health in Burkina Faso. The MALAM MAMAN-DRABO Family have one child attending Upper School.
Lea Fadoul (France)
Lea is the parent of 2 children in ISO and one baby of 2 years old. Graduated as a graphic designer, she is managing now a school and office supplies store. She also owns an art and interior design shop. She has been in Ouagadougou since 2009, and first time in a school board.
Marcel Niampa (Burkina Faso)
Marcel is serving his fifth year on the Board. He worked for over 20 years at ISO managing the IT department. He has expertise in information technology and communication. Marcel also brings a wealth of knowledge about Burkina Faso politics, law and culture.
Rachel Hampshire (USA)
Rachel has one child at ISO and is excited to be back after spending time in Ouagadougou in the mid-2000s. She has a public health degree and is currently working for a USG contractor to address violent extremism in the country. She is looking forward to her first school board experience.
Jean-Luc Aupoix (France)
Jean-Luc comes to ISO with a wealth of experience, both as a teacher and an International School Director. He has worked in many countries both in African and around the world.
