ISO is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges (MSA). See MSA goals set by the Board below. ISO was re-accredited in April, 2014 for another seven years of operation.
The school is recognized by the College Board as an approved site for AP instruction and testing.
The school is also a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), West Africa International Schools Athletic League (WAISAL) and Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE).
