Throughout the year ISO hosts many events, some just for for the school, and some open to the local community. These events include: 

• Welcome to Ouaga Potluck -- hosted each October by the PTA 
• Open House 
• Africa Night
• Holiday Festival -- a large market of local crafts, baked goods, and more, organized every December by the PTA 
• Every March is Teacher Appreciation Month
